EDI Integration
Connect your trading partners to your ERP and automate the exchange of orders, shipment notices and invoices.

Teknuro designs, builds and supports EDI integrations for companies working with retailers, distributors, suppliers
and logistics partners. We connect the documents they exchange to the processes in your ERP and warehouse systems, reducing manual entry and helping your team keep orders moving.
As a Celigo partner, we use Celigo B2B Manager to handle EDI alongside your other integrations. We work with
systems including NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and SAP Business One, with mappings and business rules tailored to your operation.

Common EDI integration scenarios
Retail and wholesale orders
Receive customer purchase orders in your ERP and return order responses, shipment notices and invoices in the required format.
Supplier and procurement flows
Send purchase orders to suppliers and bring their responses, delivery information and invoices into your purchasing process.
Warehouses and 3PL providers
Exchange warehouse instructions, shipment confirmations and inventory information between your ERP and logistics partners.
Dropshipping
Pass orders to fulfilment partners and receive shipment updates so your sales and customer service teams stay informed.
Transport and shipment updates
Connect available carrier or transport-partner EDI feeds to your systems for shipment updates and freight invoices.
Existing EDI connections
Review unreliable mappings, recurring errors or manual workarounds and plan improvements or a phased migration to Celigo.
EDI and application integration in one platform
Celigo B2B Manager supports X12 and EDIFACT, bringing EDI document processing and application integration
into the same environment. We configure partner connections, document mappings, validation and
acknowledgements around your requirements.
Connections can use AS2, SFTP or a VAN, depending on your partner. Where suitable prebuilt trading partner
connectors are available, we use them as a starting point and complete the ERP mapping and testing for your
process.
For example, a customer’s purchase order can create a sales order in your ERP. Shipment and invoice data can
then generate the documents that customer expects back.
Common EDI documents
| Business document | X12 | EDIFACT |
| Purchase order | 850 | ORDERS |
| Order acknowledgement or response | 855 | ORDERSP |
| Advance shipping notice | 856 | DESADV |
| Invoice | 810 | INVOIC |
The document types, versions and directions depend on your trading partner. We confirm these before
implementation.
Frequently asked questions
What is EDI integration
Electronic Data Interchange is the exchange of structured business documents between companies. EDI
integration connects those documents to your business systems, so an incoming order can become an ERP sales
order without manual entry.
Can we connect a partner without a prebuilt connector
Often, yes. We assess the partner’s document specifications and connection options, then determine whether a
custom EDI flow is suitable. A prebuilt connector can reduce setup work, but your ERP mapping and partner
testing still need to be completed.
Do we need a Celigo B2B Manager subscription
Yes, the B2B Manager features described here require an appropriate subscription. We help identify the required
scope and separate platform licensing, implementation and ongoing support in the proposal.
Who manages the integration after go live
Your team can manage it with documentation and training, or Teknuro can provide ongoing support. We agree
monitoring responsibilities, support hours and escalation arrangements before handover
How we build your EDI integrations
We review your trading partners, document specifications, systems and current bottlenecks. Together, we agree
which flows to implement first and what a successful result looks like.
We define how partner documents map to your ERP, including product codes, units, addresses and references.
We also agree validation, duplicate handling, acknowledgements and responsibility for exceptions.
We configure connections, partner profiles and integration flows in Celigo. We use available connectors where
suitable and build the additional logic your business process needs.
We test document exchange and the resulting ERP records with your team and trading partners. This includes
missing data, rejected documents and recovery scenarios. We support partner testing and certification where
required.
Your team receives documentation and training. We agree how monitoring, error resolution and future changes
will be handled, with ongoing support available after go-live.
